Knights Deliver Food to the Spanaway Food Bank December 14, 2020 We would like to thank all Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parishioners and Knights for all your donations for the Spanaway Food Bank on our 2nd Sunday of the month Food Drive. We collected over 700 pounds of food, including turkeys and hams for a Christmas meal. A special thanks to our Council 6806 and Assembly 1845 who loaded up and transferred the food to the food bank: Mike Mayer, Louis Fuertes, Jerry & Ana Zukowski (who also volunteer at the food bank), Lynn Propeack, Leroy Winters and Bob Wilkinson. Thanksgiving Baskets handed out Nov. 20-21, 2020 On Friday morning we received a call from St. Anne’s Parish and St. Vicent de Paul Office that they were in need of help to hand out the Thanksgiving Baskets due to pandemic issues. Our members stepped up to help. On Friday the 20th Don Wells, Gene Schmidt and Bob Wilkinson showed up to hand out baskets and on Saturday Don Wells, Leroy Winters and Bob Wilkinson helped out.
